Skillsets
I've been working on website production, copywriting, and content since 1998. The variety of companies I've worked for and responsbilities I've held have taught me so many things. Here are some of the skillsets that I've acquired over the years that have helped me to be a better copywriter and website content strategist:
- Writing both journalistic and marketing-oriented copy
- Managing website redesigns and relaunches
- Restructuring websites to improve usability and user-friendliness
- Repurposing print copy for use on the web
- Search engine optimization techniques
- Creating click-worthy headlines and achieving high open-rates on newsletters
- Familiarity with both content management systems and HTML
- Managing and/or working together with website producers and designers
